Good condition, but cut at one end through work.

An exemplary example of Gros Point in progess on a vellum pattern. Note the figure of a rabbit in one flower. Some motifs have further prickings which might be for the raised cordonnet. Note the very elaborate bride decoration in one spot, which doesn't seem to match the one worked spot. The date of this piece is uncertain, and there is a possibility it is for a flat piece. But it does have the feel of a early piece, perhaps late 1600's.
